When creating a domain controller on a vm in Azure you need to create an additional disk with caching disabled (0) to store NTDS data. The caching feature can cause NTDS corruption. (oh also put sysvol here as well). If you haven’t done this you can move these with NTDSutil.
When publishing a REMOTEAPP application with RD Virtualisation hosts the desktop is automatically unpublished. With this in mind its important to understand the functional requirements for the publication of applications, for most scenarios I imagine that RDS Session host would be a better fit.
